Day 15: I declare…

A famous pastor here in the US opens his preach every Sunday with this powerful declaration, that I love.

He first has his congregation hold up their bibles, and then they together declare this:

“This is my Bible.
I am what it says I am.
I can do what it says I can do.
Today, I will be taught the Word of God.
I boldly confess:
My mind is alert, My heart is receptive.
I will never be the same.
I am about to receive
The incorruptible, indestructible, Ever-living seed of the Word of God.
I will never be the same .
Never, never, never.
I will never be the same.
In Jesus name. Amen.”

In light of the past week’s focus, I wanted to share this with you- because I feel that it is so good to remind me to claim what God has said is ours.
This is why I am so adamant about learning and sharing the promises of God.

What would your life look like if we were living these promises to the full?
Can you see it?

Which promise do you need to declare today?
During these 40 days?
Again, what do you need?

I don’t want to end the week designated to discuss PROMISE without leaving you with one thing:
ASK GOD FOR A PROMISE, (a RHEMA) for your loved one. See the list below, you can start there. Read through the list and see which one JUMPS off the page at you. This is your RHEMA! It’s THAT easy! Once you get it, write it down on a post card, post – it note, paint it into a picture, make a piece of word art on Microsoft WORD, or in an Iphone Photo app like A Beautiful Mess.

Then PLASTER it all over your house, your car, your mirror- immerse yourself in it.

Have your child color it with crayons, and post it over his/her bed. Have it ever before you. Write it on your arms, your hand, your jeans- wherever!

When you are in times of trial, peril, pain, etc. etc. pull it out. Speak it, use it, declare it.
It will lift you up, it will lift them up, it will be an amazing salve to the part of you that is frozen in fear. It will put strength into your bones. It will help you to take courage, and believe- again.

Tomorrow, I share our personal Rhema that God gave us for Vivia!
